Millennials are here with a vengeance, Millennials will either make the renters world or break the renters world. It is always about the me's and I’s with millennials. It should be called Me-llenials, but none the less they are on top of the world, the technology world that is, it is literally in the palm of their hands. It is Instant gratification at the touch of a fingertip. So, how does this affect us as owners and property managers? Well we need to be able to see them eye to eye and be accessible at the tip of their finger when they need or want something from us. Recently I have been asking around, friends, family, what have you, to get a little more information about how renters(millennials) these days find housing to lease. All the answers I got were the internet, and not just the internet, mobile internet. So if you and your business are not mobile friendly you have already lost half the battle. Be sure that a high percentage of your marking is internet based, as a Millennial myself I know when I looking for anything i go straight to my phone, tablet, computer to get any sort of answers for my questions. That alone will have a new tenant out to get you from day one. Free, is one of the best words in sales. Free anything, I’ll take it!
